"Despite the fact that Bloomington is 50 miles from Indianapolis, and there was an airport in Monroe, County, the hotel upon arrival appeared to be very nice. The rooms looked clean and the hotel staff was pleasant. However, after staying one night, the noise level through the walls is unbearable. We had to move because the room was next to stairs and all you heard the entire night was movement of people going up and down. Next, we asked the next day when the rooms would be cleaned. The rooms are cleaned 2 times a week. You must request towels to be brought daily. We had to clean our own bathrooms. We were moved to another room due to the noise complaint. They volunteered to move all of our things, however, they threw out our milk but got us another carton each free of charge. Then, the room we moved to air conditioning did not work so for 3 days we were without air and had to use box top fans and open the doors as the only other room available was smoking. Our beds were only made by request instead of daily and the day it was made it was half made without a pillowcase and the blanket half thrown. Being Elite members of the Marriott, we are not used to having to ask for every piece of amendity. We felt like we had to ask for everthing. We were compensated 2 nights. I have stayed at several suites and never received these types of problems. If all of these are like this in terms of service, I will not stay at any TownePlace Suites again."

All accommodations have a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, dishes and glassware, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with icemaker. Pets allowed with USD 75 non-refundable fee.
